Wonderful Wall Vases

Wonderful Wall Vases

Wall vases are a wonderful way to add an artistic touch to any room. They make great additions to bare spots that just seem to be crying out for a little decoration. Use wall vases alone or in groupings, depending on the effect you are looking for, and see the immediate difference they make to your room.

Our Parisian Urn wall vases add a lovely European flair to any wall they decorate. The soft contours of these wall vases make them an especially lovely accent in a bedroom. Picture three of these wall vases mounted on the wall above a bed in place of a traditional headboard. Some silk flowers would add a soft colorful touch, and are inexpensive to change out anytime you want to give the room a fresh look. These wall vases are made from cast resin, so they look heavy, but they're not. Something important to consider when you're thinking about hanging anything near where your head rests.

Flute Urn wall vases can be used anywhere, but their clean lines fit perfectly with masculine designs, and office spaces. These wall vases would add a classic touch mounted over the fireplace in a den or study. To keep a masculine feel to a design, use simple greenery such as silk ferns or ivy in these wall vases.

Wall vases are a terrific way to add interest to spaces both large and small. Accent Architecturals encourages you to look around and see whether there's a spot crying out for wall vases in your home.

Impact Pieces Are So Important

Impact Pieces Are So Important

A good design has many components, but a few impact pieces spread out over the area are essential to create ebb and flow in any home or office decor. Impact pieces are meant to have a strong influence on the rest of the design, so consider your choices carefully.

Picture an Ancient Celtic Grille over your mantle piece. These impact pieces have the look of carved wood taken directly from an old church, but they're actually made from cast resin, so they're light weight as well as attractive. These architectural impact pieces can add dramatic flair to your room design. You can hang them from the wall, or even set these impact pieces right into the wall itself. This three piece set comes in many finishes to coordinate perfectly with your interior decor.

Our Medieval Wall Shield is one of our favorite impact pieces here at Accent Architecturals. As you probably know by now, we love pressed tin, and never run out of terrific new ways to use it. These impact pieces wrap an intricately designed piece of pressed tin over a wooden frame for added durability. Since they are very large, these impact pieces would look terrific hung on a large wall or in place of a headboard behind a queen size bed. Imagine how stunning one would look mounted in the ceiling. The possibilities are endless. Medieval times reign with these extraordinarily designed impact pieces.

Impact pieces are essential if you want to create a truly professional design plan that looks as if you paid a designer for their services. We invite you to take some time to browse through all the impact pieces offered here at Accent Architecturals.

Hooked On Hooks

Hooked On Hooks

Hooks are totally utilitarian by nature, yet so versatile the question begs "What can't you do with them"? Hooks come in every conceivable shape and size, so let your imagination run wild when you think of alternative ways to use them.

Case in point, our Coat Hanger with Name Tags hooks. Yes, you could use these hooks for exactly what they're made for, but use your imagination. Instead of writing the names of your family on each spot, why not write the names of your favorite herbs instead, and hang colorful little pots of real rosemary, sage, and thyme from each of the hooks? You can have a hanging herb garden in your own kitchen when you use these hooks in this way.

Our Ceiling Tile Hat Rack hooks can certainly hold your hat or jacket, but think about the decorative uses you could find for these hooks as well. Strategically arrange three of these hooks on a wall and hang family photos here and there. You could also use them to hang one of those clever little sayings on your kitchen wall. And while we're talking about the kitchen, these wall hooks make a terrific place to hang hot pads and dish towels.

What gardener couldn't use a sturdy set of hooks to keep their favorite hand tools close at hand but out of the way? Mount hooks above a gardener's work bench and you are ready for potting.

As you can see, hooks can be a wonderfully versatile addition to any room. Once you start thinking of alternative ways to use hooks, the ideas just keep coming.

And even though they serve a real purpose, these garden accents have ornamental value too. Each hose guide is topped with a mini garden spade and fork. These garden accents look like part of your border.

Every gardener needs a place to exercise their green thumb. Accent Architecturals' rustic Potting Bench is the perfect place to do your planting. These attractive garden accents have an upper shelf to store stacks of empty pots, and a table top work surface. The lower shelf of these garden accents is large and sturdy enough to hold your potting mix and other planting tools and materials. Picture yourself in the afternoon sunshine on the first warm day of spring, filling pottery with spring bulbs and seeds.

Nothing takes your mind off the cold gray days of February like looking forward to spring. Come browse through our wonderful collection of garden accents where you're sure to find some springtime inspiration.

Framed Art- More Than Meets The Eye

Framed Art- More Than Meets The Eye

When you have a space on your wall that just seems lonely, framed art is always a great way to fill it. Really, the Louvre can't be wrong, can it? Framed art has been the favored wall decoration for centuries, and whether your tastes run the traditional route, or something more contemporary, framed art is always ready and waiting.

Accent Architecturals has begun to add framed art to our collection of architectural enhancements. Our French Post Card Transfers offer an interesting way to connect contemporary design with old world flair. This 6 piece set of framed art pairs charming reproductions of antique French post cards in wide black frames. The clean lines of this type of framed art guarantees that it will fit in with many design genres.

Now consider some untraditional framed art. Our Pressed Tin Ceiling Tiles are incredibly artistic, and totally unexpected in a wall hanging. Pressed tin is easily turned into framed art with a custom wooden framing job. These pieces of framed art actually create lots of drama anywhere you hang them, and are perfect in an entryway when you'd like to set a certain tone. They also make wonderful framed art for an office reception area or waiting room.

As you can see, it's possible to select ready made framed art that looks terrific on your walls. However, don't be afraid to experiment with your own framed art. Accent Architectural offers many frames to help you turn your own photos and crafts into framed art that expresses your personal nature and tastes.
