Columns Support Your Design
It's hardly a secret that columns have been used for centuries to support design structures. As time progressed, columns even became decorative in their own right while still remaining functional.
Columns come in all sizes and styles, but the easiest columns to use in home decor are the smaller ones in the 7 to 8 foot height range.
You can use decorative columns to replace the plain 6x6 posts on any entry way or porch overhang. Our Leaves columns are a terrific example. The ornate leaf pattern of these columns adds tons of character to the plainest entry ways and their lightweight stone construction makes them sturdy and durable.
Would you like to turn your backyard landscape into a Roman garden? Consider using our
Salomonic columns. They are the perfect design accent to bring old Rome back to life. Anchor them securely and top these columns off with trailing flower baskets during the summer season.
Columns add dramatic flair indoors as well. You can use them on either side of large archways for architectural accents, and even add extra room lighting at the top. Columns can also be used to divide larger spaces such as warehouse lofts into distinct living areas, while not detracting from the open feeling of the space.
As you can see, the strategic use of columns is an innovative way to give a boost to your home decor designs. Accents Architectural offers columns in many styles and sizes, so you're sure to find just the right columns to fit your own design ideas.

They're made from a resin, stone and fiberglass composite material, decreasing the weight and making it weather resistant so you needn't drag them inside during the winter.
These planters could be easily turned into stunning small water gardens with a few aquatic plants, water and a small container pump. Why even a few goldfish could be added to these planters for a totally charming affect.
Planters can also be used to create stunning occasional tables. You can fill the inside with inexpensive silk florals and add a beveled glass top for a one-of-a-kind accent piece that is sure to be a conversation starter for anyone who sees it. Use these table planters in your patio, parlor or bedroom, wherever you want a touch of functional creativity.
As you can see, planters can be very versatile objects to add class and interest to virtually any type of architectural design.
