Divide Your Decor With Room Screens

Decorative screens have been around for centuries. They started with a dual purpose. In 18th century England, people were taxed by the number of rooms they had so when several people shared a dwelling, rather than add on extra rooms and cause themselves to have to pay more taxes, they would use room dividers to give everyone their privacy while avoiding paying the room tax.

These room screens will add a charming bit of life to your decor and in case the room tax ever gets reinstated - you're covered!

The Custom Tin Room Screen is an artful option and will do its job of dividing your space. It measures 76" x 72" and has a strong visual impact. This three panel screen is remarkable looking and has nine stamped panels which coordinate with our 24" wall panels and other unique tin items. This is a perfect screen for both your home and your office.

The Fontaine Room Screen is also a stamped tin screen but it doesn't look it. This intricate design and sturdy craftsmanship will insure that you have a great room divider for years to come. This screen measures 76"w x 72"h and will accommodate nearly any decor.

If you have an Indian or Asian inspired decor, take a gander at the Savoy Room Screen. This amazing pressed and stamped tin design will set your room apart from any other. It measures 76" x 72" and is well made of heavy duty stamped tin and will create a real impact in your room.

Room Screens can be as low-key or make as much of an impact as you wish. Check out our entire line of room screens today and make your room a showplace!

Chairs - More Than A Place To Sit

People don't realize how often they can bring their entire decor down by choosing the wrong chairs to put in it. It is mind boggling people will spend hundreds of dollars on a table for just the right look and then put any old chairs with it.

A chair should speak for your room as well as the other pieces in your collection. There are a number of unique chair choices available here, best of all these chairs can be used indoors or outdoors, your choice!

The Crown Panel Garden Chair will add a gorgeous touch of class to any room with its iron scroll work design and smart construction in walnut. There are options available in both the wood and the scroll work to insure that you get the chair that best fits your room. If you prefer this chair will make a lovely statement in your garden.

Corners are often overlooked areas in a room where you can really add an item to make your decor just sizzle. Too often, people simply jam a 3-sided table in the space and it makes for a boring turn in the room. A Garden Gate Corner Chair in walnut and iron adds a functional bit of decor to an otherwise drab corner and the fact you can customize the chair to fit your room design will further make your room a hit. If you choose to use this chair outside, the garden will look twice as nice when this chair is used as part of your decorating plan.

For a delicate bit of decorating, try the Scroll Leaf Garden Chair. This chair is lightly scroll worked in iron and the walnut finish is low-key. If you're going to use this chair in your garden, it will bring an airy attitude to your garden.

Including Your Pet's Needs In Your Decor

So, you've redone your whole room. The area around the fireplace looks magnificent, the other walls look divine. The whole room just sings with unity from the matching carpets to the color coordinated walls to the ceiling tiles.

Except for that pet bed and those bowls. Well, you can't expect Fido or Kitty to sleep in the floor. So what to do? Check out one of these classy pet beds is the answer!

The Birdhouse Pet Day Bed measures in at 25" x 23" x 18" and makes a charming space for your cat or dog. This pet day bed has a white picket fence design with a birdhouse on each corner. It holds a standard size pillow (which is not included), so you can slip on a pillowcase and have their bed match your linens. There is also a matching pet feeder available.

Another great choice is the Black Wood and Twig Pet Bed. Its dimensions are 26" x 19" x 16" and you can pamper your pet with this elegantly designed bed. It holds a standard size pillow (not included in this bed) which allows you to slip on a pillowcase and have your pet's bed match your linens. There is also a matching pet feeder available.

For a more traditional look, the Four Post Pet Bed will fit the bill nicely. The measurements are 27" x 20" x 11" and this classic pet bed is available in red or black wash. It holds a standard size pillow (that is not included) and allows for customizing of your design so you can slip a pillowcase over the bedding to match your decor and keep a nice line of sight running through your room.

No more out of place furniture, now, even your pet bed can match your decor quite easily and your furry companion will love their new bed!

Garden Accents For You

Yes, it's Winter and there may even be snow on the ground where you live. But that doesn't mean you can plan ahead for your garden this coming Spring.

If you're a gardening enthusiast, you will be spending a lot of time in your yard when the Spring thaw finally happens. Make your yard a fully functional showplace with some of these additions to your backyard decor:

A Clay Cross hanging in your garden lends a austere air and according to legend, brings luck to all that gaze upon it. It measures in at 7" x 1" x 13" and will hang nearly anywhere.

If you enjoy making your own potted plants and the inevitable transfer from pot to pot as your plants grow, there are two potting table/benches you will enjoy. The first is a Flowered Metal & Wood Potting Table that measures 32" x 19" x 52" and will give you plenty of room to work. The other is a potting bench that measures 36" x 19" x 65" and is a little smaller and perfect for if you need someplace to do your gardening work, but don't have a huge amount of space.

The garden hose guide is a cleverly designed way to keep your hose from tangling and staying where you wish in your yard. The Rusty Garden Cart is a great way to display your favorite plants and with its sturdy design it will be holding plants for years to come.

Last but not least, Stepping Stones add a great look to any backyard, plus give you a great place to walk. These stones are sold individually and measure in at 9" x 1" x 9" each.

Viva Le Framed Art!

If you're looking to add a little life to your walls, look at these three fun pieces. The Eiffel Tower Transfer measures in at 14" x .75" x 18" and isn't much of a space committment for your wall. However it's rich design gives an authentic lithography feel and it's muted colors in the transfer won't take a bit away from your decor. This piece really adds to your room.

How about a French Post Card Transfer Set? These six antique reproductions of French Postcards come framed in a plain black frame and will lend an air of elegance to any room. The soft colors with the stark black frame will coordinate to nearly any decor without being an impact piece. These French Post Card sets come in sets of 6 and 7" x .75" x 9" are the measurements of each individual framed postcard. These sets are shipped via Ground.

Last but but not least are the Perfumery Post Card framed transfers. These dreamy cards measure in at 11" x 15" and are framed in simple black frames. If you already have a French themed decor this will fit right in. Ditto with the shabby-chic. The frame is made from wood and this will lend an interesting note to any room.
These pieces are well made, wooden framed and very affordable. If you don't have room on your walls, consider getting one or all of these as a gift for someone else. The size of these art pieces makes them not a huge space committment on a wall and they will add to much to a decor.
