Great Gifts for the Hard to Buy For

We all have at least one person on our list that is darned near impossible to buy for. They don't really ever want anything and if they do want something, chances are they will buy it themselves.

If you ask them what they'd like for the holidays, if you get a straight answer it will be something along lines of, "Oh don't get me anything" or "Well, you couldn't know my tastes"; but with a little clever spy work, you can get them a great gift that they can appreciate and use.

Find out what their basic colors in their decor are, you can get them something nice for the home. You can either find out through a reliable friend or pay a surprise visit and drop off some cookies for the holidays or other reason for a quickie hello and goodbye visit.

Once you know a couple of basic colors in their interior, you're set. You can get them a myriad of fun additions to their room. If they are the sort of person that requires function with an item, a pair of bookends or a beautiful vase will do double duty of holding items as well as adding an air of elegance to the room.

If seeing inside the house isn't an option, consider a gift for their garden area. A beautiful small garden statue to accent a favorite plant or even a hanging artwork such as a cross or medallion for the garden area will make an elegant statement.

You might have to be a little bit sneaky but you can get the perfect gift for your hard to buy for person with just a little bit of effort on your part and you'll have them wondering how on earth you knew what to get them!
